Pima Air and Space Museum

Continuing our Museum rest day, Jen and I decided to check out the Pima Air and Space Museum. We arrived 2 1/2 hours before closing, and it was not nearly enough time. We walked through at a rather brisk pace, and barely saw everything, reading nearly nothing, and it was still worth it. I would go back and spend a whole day there if I found myself in Tucson again.

They have nearly everything you can think of. Just to name a few… a Wright Flyer, WW1 and WW2 biplanes, bombers, nearly every American fighter or helicopter, every iteration of Mig fighters, frickin’ Air Force One, the helicopter from Apocalypse Now, kamikaze planes that were flown into US ships, an SR71, and about a thousand other planes that I didn’t even know existed. I could nerd out here for days.
