Tennessee Wall

The T Wall is awesome! Technically, it’s sandstone, but it’s hard as granite and climbing like granite as well. I didn’t really look into this place much before coming here, and I was stoked to see it first hand as we walked up. Not only is the cliff amazing, but it’s super steep and the pitches are very long. Classic 5.9s here are just as stout as those in the Valley, and there are some nails-hard looking lines that would take a lot of work for me to lead cleanly. Even some of the 10s require you to put on your big-boy pants and run it out.

Like our stop in Bentonville, we ended up leaving after only two days because a week of nasty weather was coming. I have to say, I could spend a month here and probably not run out of things to do. But, I’m stoked to get back to the Red for the first time in about 15 years.
